Cambridge

Cambridge

Famously known as the home of the two prominent universities Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the city if named after the famous University in England. Now called the “City of Squares” by some because most of its commercial centers surround intersections of streets called “squares” including: Kendall, Central, Harvard, Porter, Inman, and Lechmere. Interestingly, Cambridge has one of the lowest residential property tax rates in Massachusetts and holds the highest possible bond rating, AAA, with all three Wall Street Agencies. The city is known for its liberal attitudes and diversity with the first applicants for same-sex marriage being issued at its City Hall.
